TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES

1. Enhancing Quality with Fine Dosing Technology

Our innovative fine dosing feature enhances batching accuracy by precisely controlling material flow through a single small gate. This controlled approach ensures stable flow and allows us to stop it promptly after obtaining the required amount. By closely matching the mix design, we consistently produce high-quality concrete that exceeds customer expectations.

2. Enhancing Accuracy: The Role of Multiple Independent Weighing Hoppers

The accuracy of our dosing system is determined by the capacity of the load cells. Larger load cell capacities result in higher tolerances within the weighing system. At Dainam, we employ multiple independent weighing hoppers instead of a single large weighing hopper for all aggregates. This strategic approach allows us to utilize smaller load cells for each hopper, minimizing tolerance and achieving higher accuracy in our batching process.

3. Ensuring Admixture Precision: The Role of Aluminum Load Cells

Concrete quality is profoundly influenced by the admixture, necessitating precise adherence to the mix design. To ensure the correct dosage of admixture, we utilize aluminum load cells instead of steel ones. Due to its softer nature compared to steel, aluminum offers enhanced accuracy in measuring admixture quantities.

4. Optimizing Water Dosing for Superior Concrete Quality

Water dosing plays a critical role in determining concrete quality, as it directly influences the water-to-cement ratio, which in turn affects both strength and slump. To achieve precise water dosing, Dainam employs a meticulous approach. Rather than pumping water directly into the weighing hopper—an action that risks overfeeding due to the pump’s strength—we first pump water into an intermediate tank positioned above the weighing hopper. As the tank fills, overflow water gradually drops into the weighing hopper until we reach 95% of the desired amount. At this point, we halt the water pump and open a small butterfly valve on the intermediate tank, allowing for controlled discharge of water until the total desired amount is achieved. This method enhances dosing accuracy while maintaining efficiency, as the slow and stable flow regulated by
the butterfly valve ensures precise control over water dosing.

5. Measuring Aggregate Moisture Levels for Predictable Concrete Slump

Aggregate, especially sand, often contains moisture due to environmental conditions. Simply dosing sand according to the mix design can lead to unexpected increases in slump due to excess water content. To address this issue, Dainam employs moisture probes installed in aggregate hoppers to measure moisture levels. Our software then adjusts the mix design by deducting an equivalent amount of water and adding additional sand to compensate. This meticulous approach ensures that the concrete maintains a consistent slump in line with the mix design specifications.

6. Optimizing Cement Weighing Precision through Air Pressure Control

In some cases, air pressure within the mixer can lift the atop cement weighing hopper, leading to inaccuracies in the cement weighing system. To mitigate this issue, Dainam has implemented an innovative solution. We have installed an additional dust filter atop the mixer and connected it to both the air within the mixer and the cement weighing hopper. This setup efficiently releases all excess pressure, ensuring that our weighing system operates with utmost accuracy.
